Dear Neighbor,

I’ve lived my life by a few really simple rules: do the work, tell the truth, stand up for what you believe in, and do the right thing. As your State Senator, I’ve done my best to adhere to these principles and work proactively to deliver results for the Orange County communities that I represent.

In the State Senate, I’m fighting to:

• Expand mental health services and build supportive housing.
• Combat climate change and ensure clean air and water.
• Protect abortion and ensure access to reproductive healthcare.
• Help local businesses succeed and create new jobs.
• Fully fund schools and lower financial barriers to college.
• Reduce gun violence by authoring commonsense reforms.

I served as an officer in the United States Army following my graduation from Yale University. After leaving the service, I had a successful career in technology and film production.
I’m also the founder of ArmedForce2Workforce, a not-for-profit initiative to assist young veterans in the pursuit of career-oriented employment.

My campaign has earned endorsements from elected and community leaders throughout Orange County and groups representing local teachers, firefighters, nurses, and grocery workers.
