California’s 29th Senate District is one of 40 California State Senate Districts, and includes all or parts of 16 separate cities across Orange, Los Angeles, and San Bernardino counties.

Orange County comprises the largest portion of SD-29, approximately 70%, and includes the following cities:

  • Anaheim (the western portion, with 58.2% of the city’s residents)
  • Brea
  • Buena Park (the eastern portion, with 23.8% of the city’s residents)
  • Cypress
  • Fullerton
  • La Habra
  • La Palma
  • Placentia
  • Stanton
  • Yorba Linda

Los Angeles County comprises approximately 25% of the district’s population, and includes the following cities:

  • Diamond Bar
  • City of Industry (the easternmost corner, with 6.4% of the city’s population)
  • La Habra Heights
  • Rowland Heights
  • Walnut
  • West Covina (the southeastern quadrant, with 28.7% of the city’s population)

San Bernardino residents comprise approximately 5% of the district’s residents, all located in the city of Chino Hills.

For the last eight years, California State Senate District 29 has been represented by Bob Huff, who is soon vacating the seat as the result of term limits.
